One potential source of information for decisions about value for the cost
derives from clinical trials that establish the efficacy and effectiveness of medical
therapies. During the past 25 years, there has been a growing trend to exploit
this potential source of information by collecting data on medical service use,
cost, and effect in clinical trials (Glick, Henry A., et al. Economic Evaluation in Clinical Trials).
In this seminar, we have invited four guest speakers to share their experiences on economic evaluation in clinical trials.
2. Professor Henry Glick, University of Pennsylvania
